Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the frequent questions our customers ask
1. When does your fresh fish come in?
We receive shipments of fresh fish almost daily.
2. What is the difference between cold and hot smoked salmon?
The difference between cold and hot smoked salmon is not necessarily the temperature at which it is served but rather the temperature we prepare it. We cook our Hot smoked fish to at least 150—degrees Fahrenheit. Cold-smoked salmon is not cooked but instead has the smoke blown onto the fish while maintaining a temperature under 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. What does the number listed on a shrimp bag mean?
It means approximately how many shrimp you will get per pound.
For example, 21/25 means you will receive approximately 21 to 25 shrimp per pound.
