We welcome your application for Retail Sales: Frozen and Fresh Seafood.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour

Full time and Part-time available.

Store Hours: Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Your duties would include: 

• Weighing and pricing seafood for sale.
• Operate the cash register and process credit and debit card payments.
• Ensuring the display of seafood items look fresh, stocked and tidy.
• Taking orders/ requests from retail patrons and assisting them with their choices.
• Having a good knowledge of seafood products and a drive to learn more.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Ensuring an excellent customer experience.
• Greet customers and provide advice about merchandise; type, quality and quantity sought for purchase.
• Clean, cut, and prepare fish for customers.
• General housekeeping and cleaning are essential.
• Previous retail sales experience would be an asset. 

Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced environment, lifting, bending and unloading truck shipments. Standing for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and helpful towards customers. Good communication skills, team player, reliable and organized.

Required education: 

• High school or equivalent
